OK daffs are lovely, everybody loves to see daffs but...... how do you get rid of them in a part of the garden where they aren't wanted? I dug down really deep and was sure I had pulled up the bulbs that were there before I put my viola pots in position. They are coming up again, pushing between my pots , all that digging down was a waste of time.
I dug up my canna rhizomes last November . They have been stored in a cold dark garage . On one of the rhizomes a daff bulb must have been attached . It has grown and flowered in the dark ! Tough little devils aren't they
No they've got to go one way or another, the leaves are hanging over my violas!!! and in my little garden violas rule!!! Could it be that easy?? I'll certainly try it.
