        It's the cool wind holding things back, i can go up the road about five miles and things would be out in flower but here they would be just starting to bud up

          All taking off here now, flowers are opening, leaves coming out on the Hawthorns, grass is growing and the birds are singing.

                  Well if I carry on waiting for my neighbours May flowers to appear I won't get anything done! Their tree didn't bloom last year and probably won't this year either. :doh::)

                    But all you have to do when the may is out is cast some clouts - meaning, take your clothes off! You can still garden in your woollies.
