They look like Narcissus Jonquilla "Pipit".

Thanks. I'm totally loved up with the Cantua. I'll make sure that it doesn't get so cold next winter.

It was outdoors until the cold spell came at christmas. As it was a first year seedling I put it in the greenhouse but it still took -4 or-5°c as the electrics failed at the top of the garden. It is now outdoors.

@Lolimac and @Anthony Rogers - I'm hoping that it will set seed if you want some.

It did make the greenhouse whiffy over the winter, a little like a cat had sprayed in there.
Strange family the Solanaceae - it provides us with some of our basic staple foods but can also bite us on the ass.

 

Thanks Longk, that would be great. I googled it because I thought it was a member of Onagraceae, (fuchsia) family.

 

Well, after the Lord Mayors' Shows ( lovely plants everyone) my Heuchera "Iron Butterfly" has emerged from hibernation and is looking fit to burst

@shiney ..Thank you for the valuable info...I had a feeling it could be from the Solanaceae family that's what drew my attention to it I've been lucky so far with the Nicotianas either that or my chooks aren't as daft as I thought they were

 

Remind me in two or three months and hopefully I'll have seed.

 

This corner of my garden/end of neighbour's garden, while looking fairly 'informal' for most of the year, bursts into life in spring when the forsythias and kerrias which ramble around in there both come into flower, producing a mass of yellow.
