    Good morning I would love some plant that will float on the surface of my new pond ,any suggestions would be most appreciated,thank you:smile:

    I tried Frogbit a few years back, but I think the fish ate it Woo :doh:

        Have you got any Frogs?

        Try Water Soldier too, think they are the only actual floating ones apart from Duckweed of course.

                    If I remember rightly Woo they're no problem,just throw them in and they'll look after themselves:blue thumb: I had some years ago but they needed taking out the pond and putting in a bucket in the GH to over winter them and I left them in the pond:doh:...They're cheap enough to replace I think ,so now you've got me thinking,I wouldn't mind some more myself:thumbsup:

                      I bought two pieces from the Kent Show in 2013 and popped them into my pond. By the end of August those two pieces had multiplied and had covered pretty much the whole surface area. So, if you were to buy - just buy one!
                      Mine never flowered and because I left it in the pond, eventually it turns black. But, the compost bin loved it :dbgrtmb: I was going to try and over winter it but that wasn't successful.

                          Good morning @Lolimac and @"M" I am finding it very difficult trying to locate some Water Hyacinths any help would be very much appreciated,I have been out to visit my two local aquatic centre's but they said that they never stock them:smile:
