I like to cook and adapt recipes. (I am on a cookery forum).

Tonight, as part of the dish, I made a sort of ratatouille (to bake), i.e. cut up onions, courgettes and red pepper, oiled on a baking tray.

2 oven shelves down (from the ratatouille), I cut up some toulouse sausages to bake a while, before mixing in some fresh gnocci and cut up small tomatoes to finish off baking together. Combined the lot in a bowl and devoured it!

Just a quick dish tonight. I cooked some fresh egg spaghetti and mixed it into thinly sliced red pepper, chopped parsley, smoked salmon bits and some tartare sauce. Warmish. Quite tasty...think it would have been better replacing the tartare sauce with boursin!

OH's turn to cook this evening.

        I got ... a hot roll (ok, a burger!)
That's it! No veg/salad; just a hot roll  :noidea:
Mr "m" cooked himself ... sausage, with beans on toast, topped with an egg :th scifD36: :th scifD36: :th scifD36:
Call me picky ... but, something doesn't *quite* seem "balanced" in that arrangement

Fish and Chip Supper ... mmmmmm-nom-nom-nom ... and eaten by the sea! You can't beat the smell of seaweed for seasoning a fish and chip supper.
Back to the diet tomorrow

Well today I had a cold version of what I ate yesterday - spatchcock chicken, potatoes, cauli and broccoli. Yesterday was the hot version (baked the charlotte potatoes alongside the chicken). Today I had the chicken cold and made a potato salad with lightly cooked veg in with it.

Made my first ever curry ever today!!

Only made it because my surprise in my abel and cole order the other week was a curry powder mix with a receipe on the back. Its madness that i have never made a curry before because I have made gulab jamon and jalebi

It was lovely and i will def be doing it again altho i am exhausted cooking from scratch now.
