Later this year, there is to be a village show and everyone is invited to contribute something to this community project, e.g. craft, cooking, art, photography, flower arranging, even gardening.
Now, I dabble in a bit of this and a bit of that, but I'm certainly not particularly *good* at anything! But, I would like to do *something*
    So, with that in mind:-
    • Does anyone have any experience of these things?
    • Any hints or tips as to what may make a "useful" (respectable) contribution? :noidea:
    • How many of the categories are you supposed to contribute to?

    :help: :help: :help:

to me anything endless food related preparation are always welcome. You can practice the preparation a few times before hand, so that you are sure it will work out well on the day.

Otherwise a simple game/activity for children with prizes: something very colorful, amusing, not too tiring. For example they have to walk holding an egg on a spoon, or grab apples in a bucket full of water, throw balls in a bucket etc...

        Had an idea..:ideaIPB:
howsabout if you take a piccie of each hen who's laid an egg in the box and put her name on the relevant egg.
so the kids can choose which one they want for brekkie?
Would make for a fun little display stand,
        Jenny

How about a collage. It could be photo's of the village, pressed wild flowers etc.

I'd say plants or a board on the history of the village maybe.
