The sun's breaking through lots of little clouds now but it's decidedly cooler ! The tiniest flicker of a breeze,

Wednesday, yesterday was beautiful. Just like summer and hit about 23 degrees. Summer wasn't on a Wednesday last year I'm sure it wasn't.

Lovely and sunny here today and at the moment it is 63f outside and 67.1f inside.:snork:Couldnt wake up this morning,I do so wish they would stop changing the blxxdy clocks as I don't know whether I am coming or going:biggrin:

Been outside washing flower pots and drying them off in the greenhouse as I have got most of my plants out of there and in the ground but the stupid ground is rock hard:sad:

No sprinklers on here as we are on a water meter and we don't want sky high bills.:snork:

Right going back outside to get some more VitaminD for my bones:snork:

                            Another sunny day today .

This morning was a bit nippy when I went out to turn the sprinkler on at 6 a.m.

@Kandy we're on a meter as well but having the garden in good condition is a priority. I reckon that it costs us about an extra £60 a year for using the sprinkler but, apart from the flower beds being improved, we make more than that on the extra veggie and fruit production. :blue thumb:

The sprinkler is on it's third part of the garden already, today.

This is typical of parts that haven't yet been watered. The surface will be dug before having the sprinkler on it.

@pete I changed my clocks (well Mr Kandy did) the same time as you but because we have lost an hour and I suffer badly through the winters months through lack of sunlight it will take me quiet some time to catch up so I am finding I just can't wake up in the mornings at the moment, but when the light does eventually get through I shall be up and about at around four in the morning especially at weekends and will get lots of stuff done outside and in the greenhouse before Mr Kandy gets up:snork:

@shiney I thought I was the only one that had large stones in my borders:biggrin:(You have four near your tree:smile:)I am collecting my washing up water and throwing it on some of my plants, and have also been using the water out of my waterbutt but had to use the hosepipe to water my potted bulbs on my outside staging and the plants and bulbs I have been putting into some of my borders.Even though we dug out a lot of the borders and added grit, compost, leaf mould, ash and new top soil the soil soon turns to clay especially when I have to keep walking on it to plant stuff:sad:
It has been a bit chilly today especially with this breeze we have at the moment.Hard to think I really thought summer was here to stay the other day:snork:
