    Hi guys,

I got two hybrid Tea rose trees given to me for nothing by a friend so decided to use them in the empty border I now have at the end of the garden (pic below)

I'm just wondering does anyone have any ideas as to what plants/flowers I can put around these to complement them and also to fill the space? IMAG0069.jpg

Which way does the border face? Is it south facing for example? Knowing the direction will give us a better idea of what to suggest. It's very nice of your friend to give you some roses. Out of interest, do you know the name of them? :)

My garden is north-west facing but I'm in the south so I get the sun in that border pretty much all day. I don't know the names I have the tags Still in my shed so I will dig them out when I'm home in a bit. As for colour the picture on the tag was peach looking so maybe that colour? I just want to put a few flowers around to stop the border looking bare really.

Good afternoon @DannyB I take it you mean Standard Rose Trees,do you want Perennials or annuals ,can I respectfully suggest that you trim the hedge on the left;) If you give us the colour and names (when you find the tags) then we will know what colours to suggest to offset your Roses:smile:

Yeah that hedge is on my job list for next weekend! :blue thumb: I think I would prefer annuals, I dug the tag out of the shed for the rose trees they are 'remember me' (apricot blends) 1429471891061-774727788.jpg

    That is quite nice!
