    Another coastal walk (in gale force winds), this time near Lulworth Cove and Mupe Bay a mile or two along from Tyneham.
    Worbarrow bay from the Western end.

    One of many land slips along this part of the coast.

    Mupe Bay with some fantastic rock strata.

    This part of the cliff is known as the Fossil Forest, the circles are the fossilised remains of algae and Tufa which grew around the tree trunks millions of years ago and not the actual tree trunks.

          Wow !! In picture 5 @strongylodon , I can see the face of a pixie nosed young lass looking upward towards the sky, with her golden locks flowing down her shoulder. Can anyone else see her?

                  I remember going here as a kid on our yearly holidays to devon. Used to stay at the caravan park at Durdledoor. Such a fantastic place but unforgiving all the same.

                  I know, it took us many years to revisit Durdle Dor as I lost my nephew there when he was only 19.
