Watched A Fish Called Wanda class acts by John Cleese and Kevin Kline

 

I watched Looper................


Despite the totally silly premise based on time travel (much like Twelve Monkeys) it was a surprisingly good film (much like Twelve Monkeys).

 

The Hunger Games - Catching Fire..Good movie from start to finish

 

Just watched Harry Brown starring Michael Caine.

 

I was watching Michael Caine last night as well, in Educating Rita, what a fine actor he is!!

 

Watched Sabotage (2014) last night..pretty good movie!

 

I watched the Killing Room last night.................


Rather a good psychological thriller.

 

Just saw "I Give It A Year" on channel 4 tonight....great! Some fast witty lines, sharp observations only to be marred by a cheesy/unrealistic ending.

 

True of most romcoms but truly "mastered" by British romcoms. The main reason that I find most of them unwatchable. That and the fact that most of the characters seem to be middle class angst ridden/neurotic twerps who really should be culled for the good of society

 

I watched Faster tonight. It's a feature length documentary from 2003'ish about the motorcycle GP World Championship.................

Watched Poldarklast night.Gripping stuff(oops,sorry it isn't a film,perhaps we need a TV programme thread)

 

Went to the cinema on Saturday and saw "A LittleChaos" a very good film staring the delightful Kate Winslet playing a 16th.century garden designer.

 

I was wondering about going to see this....is it funny? romantic?
