There are quite a few allotments in town, but i'm gonna see if I can carry on using the plot here at the weekends

 

oh dear, let's hope it doesn't collapse! But good to know you are in Bridport, it is a lovely village plus you are close to shops etc compared to before.

 

I was wrong, there is a communal garden for the flats

Just didn't know it was round the back...

 

So...some good news with some bad news! Wow, looks like a
major undertaking. Are you up for it? I guess it requires filling lots of skips...would the other residents help pay for it if they knew they would be getting a garden?

 

That's not at all nice Ziggy. Is the area big enough to actually create a garden in?

Shouldn't the company who have the service agreement for the flats be clearing this? I bet there's an element of the maintenance fee which covers outside space

 

Ziggy, You could always cart that bath up the stairs and have a huge window box :-)

Nah, leave it outside. You could grow some decent spuds in that bathtub.

There's also an old plastic dustbin (and lid), you could probably make some lovely leaf mould or compost in that.
And see that old upturned laundry basket in the corner? Stick a plastic bag over it and you've got a cloche or a propagator.
