          Good morning everyone,

          What a fabulous day it was yesterday,glorious sunshine and it really warmed up too,I've seen more Bees and Butterflies in this last week or so than I saw all of last year:dancy:....It was lovely to get everything done and sit outside with my old Dad and have swift half:ccheers:....Magic:blue thumb:

          Back to the grind today but made all the better for this sunshine:SUNsmile:

            Another lovely sunny day today and yesterday was the sunniest this year in Shineyland. The panels made 25 kWh :blue thumb:

            Mrs Shiney went off to one of her flower arranging clubs last night so had a load of plant material in her car. She'd loaded the car during the afternoon so had the windows open and when she got to the car Sarafi was asleep on the driver's seat :snork: He, nonchalantly, strolled across to the passenger seat and climbed out of the window. :)

            We hope to get a lot done in the garden today.

                Hello, my lovely forum friends, I'm having a it of Internet trouble at home so I'm not on here as much as I like to be :frown:, hubby is in charge of sorting it out, I may have to step in, he's too kind where as I'm kind but very firm! :paladin:.
                My garden is taking shape & I'm feeling rather pleased with it! Lots of plants starting to poke their little heads through.
                Thank you all for all your kindness re; Little B, I'm starting to get back to normal now, animals hey they steel your heart & break it when they go!
                @moyra, I'm so sorry to read that your four is back, I hope it soon clears off!
                @shiney I hope you get a good day in the garden :blue thumb:.

                    Woo...I missed your tune yesterday but had a listen just now,guess what I'll be singing all day:blue thumb:

                    Shiney...Sarafi certainly got himself comfy didn't he:cat-kittyandsmiley:they just do as they like our animals don't they...

                    Got up to a huge pile of feathers and a wing on the lawn:sad: looks like the Hawk has had an early breakfast,one big stoggie down.That's the only problem I have with this time of the year when all the birds have young to feed,I'd prefer it if the Hawk went somewhere else to do her 'food shopping'...I've just been out again flapping around the garden:rolleyespink: she's getting a bit greedy this morning:old:...She'll be thinking 'look at that nutter annnd she's only got one slipper on'...:lolpt:Theo has fallen asleep on top of the other one:doh:

                      Woo, my bouncability is OK but a bit lopsided. :noidea:

                      I was watching them put the funfair together on the village green, so it'll be busy there next week. It's a typical old fashioned funfair and turns up about three times a year. The kids love it. :heehee:

                      We got a lot of weeding done in the garden (two wheelie bins full) and I did a lot of mowing. I was too knackered by 6 p.m. to put the mower away :phew:. So it's out and waiting for me to continue mowing today. Weaving around all the cowslips and primroses is quite hard work as the mower is so heavy. :doh:

                        That hawk is a bit of problem, Loli, although some would say perhaps it is not so bad to keep the pigeons down a bit. We have loads here. I love to see the wood pigeons who also visit as well as the collared doves.

                        Waves to WOO, hope you and the family are keeping well.

                        Shiney, do not overdo things today!

                        I am just hoping my gout will ease up, I managed to get my shoe on after stretching it a bit. I hobbled round with Amber and she had a game of chase the ball for a while.

                          I'll probably do less than I want but more than I should! :noidea: Mrs Shiney has gone off to Wisley so I've got to do all her regular maintenance jobs as well as what I want to get done. The biggest job is the watering of the greenhouse, pots, nursery areas, baskets etc. which will take a good hour and a half.

                          I've also got to put the sprinkler on the bone dry beds towards the bottom of the garden and water some of the plants in the front that look very unhappy.

                          As we have guests coming at the weekend (people that help us on Open Day) I need to finish the mowing and trim the edges.

                          Then there are all the admin jobs that need doing :doh:. I have to revamp the annual programme for the bridge club and get it off to the printers. That's a tedious job as we meet over fifty times a year and I have to make sure the dates are correct, the events are on the right dates and the other info is up to date.

                          A lot of bills need paying (have to check bank account), have just been roped in to running a quiz and setting the questions, meters to read (there's a problem between my readings and the power company's figures on line), and I have to work on some summer events that I'm organising. Then I have to prepare for a meeting tonight. :phew:

                          I've also got to go into town to sort out some things for Barry so will combine that with taking back the new long handled shears that I bought. The grips on the handles are too big for Mrs Shiney's hands! Details another time :heehee:

                          I'm typing this whilst having my breakfast :biggrin:

                            Phew, that's some list of jobs Shiney. No wonder you don't sleep, you probably don't have time to!

                            I'm hoping I get my mower back from being repaired today, the grass is getting out of control
