I must have 30+ Hostas in my garden.
Most of them have made some sort of appearance, some well into growth by now.

But 3 or 4 of them - still no sign.

    Has anyone else had this?

Mine are all through as far as I can recall. I'm dividing a few up this year, had to do it quickly a week ago as they were getting pretty big.

Mine are all at various stages. If I'm remembering the planting correctly it is the smaller leafed forms that are emerging slowly.

I have many varieties and they certainly start into growth a different times. My pure green ones are usually the 1st to start up (about 3 weeks ago) while I have Sun and Substance (yellow) just starting and Siebaldiana Elegans (grey/blue) plus some of my very variagated varieties not showing really any signs of life yet. With you Sirus being in South of England I am a little surprised you can't see the buds beginning to swell?, hope they are ok.

I think 3 of the 4 are some new plants I put in last year.
They were from Mickfield Hostas, and tbh, I was a bit dissapointed with them when they arrived. Only 1 growing point per plant. And not cheap!
I have had plants from other specialist Hosta suppliers and they came with multiple growth points

Hopefully the slowness is due to the fact that they have only been in the ground since last season.

Checked on my Hostas again yesterday evening.
Another one or two are starting to make an appearance.

I guess they are just a bit slow this year.

Mine are slow this year and I have one left just about appearing , I wouldn't worry , they may need a good watering to kick start them off

I only brought one with me when I moved here (var. "Loli") and even then I divided it in half in the Autumn.
Both are showing and growing nicely :dbgrtmb: ( :phew: )

Mine are all showing now but in various stages of leaf, that's fairly normal in my experience, different varieties show at different rates. I wouldn't be worrying but if you are. just have a gentle poke around where you expect them to appear and I'm sure you'll find some growth just below the surface.

Haha that was me last week @Dips . :hapfeet:
Every sprouting overwintered dahlia has brought about the same result. If only I'd labelled them better!
