It has certainly brightened up this morning but is quite chilly. So I had to wrap up warm before I went out. I've fed the birds and pottered around the garden for an hour or so and have come back in to give my back a rest.

When the grass has dried up a bit I shall do a couple of hours of mowing, the only job that doesn't give me backache. :blue thumb: A bit of weeding wouldn't come amiss either. :)

Keep well and have a great day

            Aloha!

              Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone is OK this morning:thumbsup:

Shiney...I'll definitely see about getting those shears, thanks for the info:thumbsup:

Beckie...Good to see you back proper:thumbsup:

Moyra...You're not kidding it is nippy out there...Brrr...the temperature is slowly rising now the sun is out though:thumbsup:

Had a good session in the garden yesterday:dancy: and popped to the GC to get some bags of FYM,it was easy sliding them off the pile and letting them drop onto the trolley but wrestling with the trolley to the till I was thinking will I be able to fling them into the car?my ribs are dodgy again through getting carried away so thought better of it,I've seen the day I wouldn't have even thought about it but you live and learn.
Just letting my compost warm up before I start again, that's my excuse for another cuppa:coffee::biggrin:

Waves to all,go steady and take care:SUNsmile:

Good morning, it's a beautiful day here, lovely bright sunshine, we had a slight frost over night but that's now cleared up.
I got a couple of hours in the garden yesterday afternoon, I had to change the netting on one of the flowerbeds, I'd put it up to keep the hens off whilst the plants were shooting, but Marion had managed to find a small hole & has eaten the leaves off my biggest delphinium :nonofinger:, she did the same last year, she's a little tyke! :rolleyespink:, but she's only doing what hens do :)
The veggie patch is coming along my peas, onions, garlic & broad beans are all looking good, thank goodness there's no sign of any potatoes yet, with the odd frost around I hope they don't shoot for another few weeks.
I hope everyone is well & had a nice day in the garden yesterday :blue thumb:
@shiney i hope your back soon gets better, prehaps a nice soak in the bath? Please don't over do it today, a regular break won't do you any harm :coffee:. I hope your leg has healed up now.
@wiseowl i hope all is well in your nest? I've been trying to catch up, your garden is looking really good, you've done a great job on painting the steps :dbgrtmb:
@LyndaG i hope Phil is feeling better & all is well your end. I've not bought much from Aldi only a couple of Passion flowers, I'm not sure where I'm going to plant those yet! But hey a woman can never have enough plants :heehee:!
@Lolimac, I hope your ribs are ok, take it easy today
Have a lovely day my friends :ccheers:

Loli's right, we suffer from selective deafness. :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Beckie, my back is a permanent problem and has been for well over 60 years. I don't do baths as my bad knee doesn't let me get up and down in them very easily (never liked baths anyway :) but I love showers ). The wound in my leg is healing, slowly and the problem under my foot is still there (not getting worse but not getting better) and am off to the practice nurse about it this morning. I want some antibiotic cream just in case it may help.

I've got a lot of gardening to do :lunapic 130165696578242 5: before seeing the nurse.

                          Morning all

Back in France now after a manic and exhausting weekend in Eastbourne

Sunny and breezy here, but really quite pleasant

Haven't had a chance to catch up with everyone's posts yet so hope you are all well and had a great weekend

                          Have a great afternoon

Eve, do you go backwards and forwards on the Eurostar or do you use the ferries? Hope your dad wasn't too bad this last weekend.
Have a good evening all, God Bless. :wub2:

I go on Eurotunnel Moyra. Drive on, drive off just a 35 minute journey. And not too expensive if it's just for a weekend. Dad is still in hospital. Started off as a few days for a kidney infection, then his ward was on lockdown for norovirus for a week, then he got pneumonia, now he has a stomach bug (but not norovirus). So, quite frail but still battling on. Thank you so much for asking
