Which plant can't you wait to flower?

The tree paeonies........at the moment. They're so fleeting but so spectacular

 

My garden is a wildlife garden with stuff grown in containers. With this in mind, the flowers I like to see are those from the top bee attracting plants growing in my garden - the different kinds of Linaria, Salvia and Agastache and the good old borage and snaps I love so much. Then there's my Buddleia Lochinch with it's huge flowers which gets covered in butterflies. When these are all in flower plus the other bee magnets I have, the whole garden hums with life. Great stuff!

My seed grown (own collected) Meconopsis Betonicifolia plants which are now coming back into growth. I sowed them in October 2013 so expect that they will flower this year.

I sowed 2 more trays last October of seeds I bought online, not 1 seedling so I'm certain they were not viable.

 

@Jenny namaste wow that cowslip is beautiful, I shall be buying some of those at shineyland if there's some for sale this year .
I'm looking forward to my stocks, sunflowers, delphiniums & new roses flowering everything is looking good, I've used some bailer wrap to fence off some of the flowerbeds so the hens can't trash them! It's amazing how much damage those little feet can do! But I wouldn't change it for the world

 

Scrap what I said before. I planted a Hydrangea Semenii nearly 5 years ago and it's not flowered yet...

But... today I noticed what I'm certain are flower buds so I can't wait!!

 

The one I cannot wait for is really simple and dull to most but it is my fragrant sweet peas they were my grans favourite and I love the way they look [emoji1]

 

My bergonias- if only to ensure I haven't killed them off!
They looked a bit worse for wear when I bought them from Aldi, but the purplely-coloured leaves lured me in and I bought them anyway. I then put them in my boyfriend's car and forgot about them for a day or two. When I finally planted them out, I realised that due to the impulsive nature of my purchase, I hadn't properly checked the plant and many of the stems were broken. I proceeded to plant them anyway and gave them a really good watering as they looked like they needed it, completely forgetting it was 11am and we were due very good weather. As you can imagine, I returned to the allotment the next day to find many of the leaves scorched.
So yes, I'm most excited to see those... if they ever flower!

 

My real fascination is to see how the dahlia seeds turn out that I harvested from my dahlias last season Might be a new variety in there somewhere!

I now have a lot of seeds growing on and tubers sprouting in the hall and in various places round the house. Can't wait to see them in action, but the "mystery" dahlias is my main obsession.

My deep red peonies...I adore them!

 

My Lilac 'Sensation'. Here's a pic from last year off the shrubby one, but I bought another which is a half standard to grow into a tree shape. Such a gorgeous fragrance

 

My astrantia jumble hole and knautias both have flower buds, plus the Delphs have flower spikes forming.

 

Canarina canariensis is taking an age.................
