Garlic's not looking bad

      Seems to be a good year for garlic, mines also looking pretty good at the moment.

        Mine are looking the best they've done for some years, I keep waiting for some heavy rain before giving a feed of chicken poo pellets, but the rain never comes so I expect I'll need to cart some water to them.

        @Zigs Don't you get rabbits eating the garlic leaves (and those onions), all mine are protected with 900mm high 25mm 'chicken' mesh.

            Just been removing theseed heads from the wild garlic around mine. The stuffs running rampant, in the lawn, in the path, down the driveway bed, argh!
            My container grown music and elephant are looking good so far this year and my very late small garlics are small but will be used as seed next year hopefully. Just need a nice dry warm early summer now.
            What are you guys feeding yours with ? Chick poo for mine.

                        Blood fish & bone dug in, mulched with well rotten horse manure over winter, scattered chicken poo pellets around them yesterday prior to weeding so they got worked in a bit.
