      Feeling a bit better today. Just sat and tidied my plantlets, Peter was not good at watering again, so I have got a few dead ones. :frown:

      No Lolimac, no ironing, the board has been locked away.:thumbsup:

      Dressings are being changed today, I could do 2 of them, but I don't have eyes in the back of my head to do the one on my bum.:snork:

          I've been sat for ages trying to get a picture of Mr and Mrs Blackbird feeding their lovely chunky baby but they're having none of it and scoot off just as I'm about to click:doh:..
          Going to visit Great Aunt with Mum today so between us by the time we've finished I can see there being three more candidates for the election:old::heehee:...

                  Just back in from working outside.

                  A ten minute break then I'm making a chicken soup, doing roast chicken with roast spuds and cauli and we'll have it with some pickled cues that should be ready now (not to forget the fresh chillies :))

                  Got 15 x 70litre sacks of horse manure from the farm and dug it into the compost heaps, bought another 4 x 70 litre Wickes compost for potting on the chillies. Also did a bit of digging and weeding.

                  Once the soup is on I'll deal with the 26 emails that have come in since clearing this morning's lot. :phew:

                  So, all in all, an easy relaxing day :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

                    How did Amber's vet visit go Moyra?

                    Been up since silly o'clock, just couldn't sleep. Think another coffee is needed to get me going then I'll make an early start on cutting the grass. My two are definitely not morning dogs - they'd not appreciate a walk this early. They do like a lay in, in the morning :snooze:

                        Had a reasonable night, tried out a new pillow, and it helped. (not for my bum):snooze::rolleyespink:

                        Had dressings changed yesterday, and should be able to take them off completely:thumbsup:
                        next Friday.

                        Still taking it easy, a lot of sitting down, just tidying up the plants that OH forgot to
                        water.:nonofinger:

                          I hope all of you that are still under the weather are feeling better today. :grphg:

                          My wound is still healing up. :blue thumb: It feels a lot better but can't see it until this dressing comes off next week. Under foot is a nuisance but isn't interfering too much with getting things done. It's just more of a worry about whether it will start spreading. Changing dressingfs twice a day now. :sad:

                          Now that I've got all the lawn edges done and most of the big weeding done I'll start on weaving the roofs over my ShineyFrames. :dbgrtmb:

                            Lili..I always find it's touch and go with new pillows,you either have a bad night or a good night,pleased yours was the later and you're steadily on the mend:dbgrtmb:

                            Eve and Woo,I know that feeling well too:rolleyespink: I've tried the sheep counting business and that doesn't work so now I clock watch and say to myself if I'm still awake in half an hour I'm getting up,that works 'sometimes'...

                            Shiney,your foot does sound like a worry but hopefully these new dressings will do the trick:fingers crossed:

                            Zig...Sounds like you had a busy but enjoyable day with the ziglets:thumbsup:

                            Moyra...Hope you're doing OK and Ambers vet visit went OK:thumbsup:

                            I had a smashing day with Great Aunt yesterday,we went as far back as the 1920's to the present day absolutely fascinating :love30:
                            Today is the start of Le Tour de Yorkshire:hapfeet:,it's all very exciting,not far from here the sheep have been painted with their yellow and blue jerseys and there's bunting and bicycles all over the place.I intended on driving up to Rosedale to get a glimpse but Mum isn't quite up to the hustle and bustle so we'll be watching it on the telly:dbgrtmb:

                            It's a lovely sunny one again,blooming marvellous:yes:

                              Still very cold this morning am wondering if I should leave off the Lisinopril which thins my blood, as I am anaemic perhaps I do not need it.

                              Loli, Amber went ok at the vet, apart from her having put on 4kg. that's at lot. So it is back to watching her diet again and more throwing the ball on the green. I wish she didn't want to get out so early.

                              Lili, glad you had a better night last night.

                              Shiney look after that foot. WOO hope you and your family are all ok, do take care all.
