Some of the leaves of my Lupins in the greenhouse have a greyish colour, what is happening.

    Looks a bit like mildew.
Lupins should be outside, they are not a greenhouse plant.

    Hiya kerrygirl.
The pic isn't really clear enough, but it does look a bit like mildew. It might be worth trying a fungicide (Bordeaux Mixture folks?) to get rid. I'd be inclined to put them outside during the day to get some air round them. Others here will probably be able to add more.

    Hiya Pete :blue thumb:
They look like young plants. Will they be ok outside if we get an overnight frost?

Well I'm guessing they need to be hardened off now.
Hardy perennial, so they wont like being in a greenhouse for long, especially now its May.

Not sure if they get frost in Ireland this late.
Slugs more likely to be a problem.

      Thanks Freddy,
They are young plants but I can put them out by day as you suggested.

Given Pete's input, I'd be inclined to keep them outside on all but the coldest nights with a view to planting out in the next couple of weeks.

      Thanks Pete,
I will start hardening them off now.
