    Aloha everyone,

Moyra, Woo and Lili, I hope you're feeling much better and that everyone else is feeling good too. :grphg:

I managed a good 3.5 hours sleep in the night :blue thumb:. Haven't had that this year, yet. I hope I don't suffer for it as I sometimes end up with a migraine. :nonofinger:

It rained all morning and early afternoon but just a steady light rain. The we had warm sunshine (topped 70F) followed by thunder and black clouds. I didn't quite finish the roof but will do so today.

Mrs Shiney wanted to go and see Woman in Gold so we had to drive into the edge of London to find a cinema that was showing it. A thought provoking, superbly acted film. Well worth seeing - even for a non-cinema going person like myself. Fortunately I remembered to take my ear plugs as the ads and previews were much too loud for me. :dbgrtmb:

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

        Morning all,:spinning:

Up with the lark today (or should that be with the dog).:doggieshmooze:

Looks like it has the makings of a good day:yay:

My grandson Sam is coming over with his dad and girlfriend, though
only for a couple of hours, oh how I hate these custody squabbles.

One plaster off today, the one that covered the drain hole on my bum cheek:yikes:

Already been in the garage, doing some light tidying up so that I can sit and do
        some seed sowing:yes:

Hope everyone with aches and pains feel better today, and that you all enjoy the
        Bank Holiday.:cat-kittyandsmiley:

            Good morning everyone,

Sore shoulder and feet again not gout though. Just arthritis. I am still so tired. Wish I could sleep better. Well must get Amber out although I haven't taken my medication yet.
Have a good day everyone, God bless.:wub2:

              Evening all

Quick trip to Eastbourne today as there is a meeting at the the hospital tomorrow to discuss my dad's future care. So well organised that they couldn't tell us this afternoon what time it's going to be tomorrow. Just told to phone up in the morning and be on stand by to get up here when they can get everyone together - just hope it's still happening and I haven't come over for nothing. Oh well, see what tomorrow brings.

Hope everyone has had a good day and good wishes for a peaceful evening

                  Aloha everyone,

Eve, best wishes for the meeting. :grphg:

After the lovely morning rain we had a sunny and hot day yesterday. :blue thumb: I got a lot done.

The local weather map (BBC) says it's raining over Shineyland but someone forgot to wake the clouds up!

I had a bit of a palaver over removing the dressing on my leg! It was 6" x 6" and the nurse had told me to keep it on for a week. She told me not to worry about it coming off in the shower. She was right, trying to get it off took ages (bearing in mind I have to be careful with the skin on my legs) and then it took more ages getting all the sticky off. :phew: I had to get the sticky stuff off otherwise I couldn't put my stocking on.

End result, wound is looking quite good and I'm now able to just use a small protective dressing on it. :hapydancsmil:

My foot is also a bit better :blue thumb: but I have to be careful how much I do in the garden, and get my shoes off every so often.

Keep well and have a great day

                  Aloha!

                    Good morning everyone,

Eve...I hope your meeting goes well and they manage to sort out your Dads plan of care:fingers crossed::thumbsup:

Shiney..That's marvellous news your leg is so much better, just need the foot to go the same way:thumbsup:

Blimey we had some rain overnight:hate-shocked: the two low spots in the garden look like lagoons:doh:all the water butts are full to overflowing which is good 'ish' but I'll need to get rid of some today or it'll fill the bed where my Roses are and I'm not having those upset:nonofinger:...

                    Beckie...How's Nora:chicken: doing?

Wishing everyone well, take it easy and take care:SUNsmile:

                        Morning all:spinning:

L-I-F, I hope it all gets sorted out for you today.

Shiney, hope your leg is recovering well, yes, that sticky stuff is a so-and-so
to remove, I always find they leave a dirty mark which is only taken off with
a bit of nail polish remover, but would not be possible for your leg:nonofinger:

Moyra, I swear by those gel painkillers, they are OK, but my short arms cannot reach
some areas, so OH has to do it, and he always complains that he does not like the smell
                        and his hands are greasy:thud:

Bit weary last night, took on a project, and would not leave it until I had finished
                        it.

Took a Daizepam last night, and I slept more relaxed. Which what I needed.:snooze:

Rained heavy late evening, and very blustery, garden really needed the water.

                        Have a good day everyone:imphrt:
