    Please can anyone identify this shrub blooming for 2 weeks at the new house I have moved in to.

      It looks like a Daphne to me but I have trouble seeing this type of pic as they come up tiny on my phone.

      Are daphnes the shrubs that have a beautiful perfume. This shrub has no smell at all. Thank you

      From this distance it could be Olearia phlogopappa

      Hello. I live in Devon, United Kingdom. I will try to take a photo of the flowers and leaves tomorrow as it is blowing a gale here this evening.

      It could just be the way the photo is but it doesn't look like a daisy type flower ( olearia) to me.

        The flower is not a daisy. I will take a close up of the flower and leaves tomorrow when the gales die down and see if that makes it clearer to identify.
