2 packs of free plants from Homebase this weekend worth £7 (2x£3.50)plus a £5 off a £20 spend on plants when you buy the Saturday or sunday Telegraph newspaper.
Seems good to me and I`ll be using it as Ive still got to do 2 hanging baskets.

Good offer but they've just shut down my local homebase and it's changed to a Range

        http://www.telegraph.co.uk/promotions/11586942/free-bedding-plants-from-homebase.html

Telegraph on Sat is £1.40? (I'll check in the morning) EDIT it's £2 and on Sun £2.00.

If you buy £10's worth of stuff at Waitrose, including the cost of the paper, you can get The Telegraphs for free, using a MyWaitrose card. Buy 5 copies for £10 you will get one of them for free, then pop in and out of Homebase 5 times and get 10 packs of bedding plants worth £35 for only £10.00. That's my front garden bedding sorted for much less cost/hassle of buying plug plants and growing them on.

P.S. Don't forget to use your Nectar card when you collect your free plants as you'll get points on the full face value of £7 every time you use a voucher.

Voucher is on page 28. NB The voucher in today's paper (Sat) must be used on Saturday.

TIP: If going for an £8 spend in Waitrose to get a free £2 newspaper (total £10 shop to get it free) look out for BOGOF Birds Eye products that are Try Me Free (special packs) that will be free food which will help towards the £8 spend.

Do you know what type of plants they are allowing?

We did a load of multiple shops there earlier this morning, the £3.50 packs have 6 plants in them.

Their tills were firing out extra Nectar vouchers with every transaction, so with subsequent purchases hand over the voucher from the previous purchase together with your Nectar card, then hand over your Telegraph voucher to get them for free + double or treble points on the £7 they normally cost. Mrs Scrungee was lucky enough to get a 200 points on your next transaction voucher (worth £1) with one purchase, so earned more than one pound's worth of points when she got her next 2 packs of free plants!

A good offer for some nice free plants. Only problem for me was I had to hire a rug doctor to do the carpets . God thats a boring task.

I got 2 free packs of Petunias from Homebase during the week, nothing to do with the Telegraph though, I was given a voucher at the checkout for them which I used there & then.

Got 14 packs of plants, used 2 vouchers from neighbours, got 2 free from Waitrose, paid £6 for for 3 of them, less 177 Nectar Points worth 89p So only £5.11 for 84 plants, that's 6p each!
