Buzzards don't usually hover but this one did for quite a while.[IMG]

But look at the size of their bellies and you know why we chase them off, they will not stop till the clear every bit of food. No wonder farmers hate them, 2 or 3 hundred in a field eating his crops all day!!!!

Marvelous how nothing goes to waste in nature isn't it?

Coming downstairs first thing this morning, I was greeted by a pile of cat sick on the kitchen floor.

So I quickly shoveled it up and lobbed it under a bush in the garden. Within a couple of minutes a magpie appeared and hopped under the bush to enjoy its breakfast.

Hi All , Someone may know , it looks like I only have the one Robin parent as I havnt seen the other one for over 5 days now , luckily the two baby robins have almost fledged and have already started to feed them selves with a occasional meal of the only parent , what I have noticed the Robin sits high in the tree and is singing its full song , something it hasnt done since it made mine and other gardens close by its patch early Feb March , do you think it may be attracting a new mate ? as they do have more than one clutch and its only early May ?

I think male robins are quite promiscuous Spruce,

from a few days ago, a couple of bees...

this fellow had got trapped under the fleece on our lemon tree, a little drowsy before flying off.

Unfortunately, this is an "ex" bumble bee, that I spotted on the grass, whilst emptying the compost from the kitchen. Still so delicately beautiful, though 2015 may garden 007.JPG

So, as a special treat, I put out a couple of fresh grapes with their brekkie this morning. Dad was happy to try it out

This is the second one of these I have found in this spot inside my shed door, I realise it's a wasp nest, but is it a particular type that needs help,
