    Hi folks,
I thought I would post a link to my photography blog. I've been a keen photographer for about a decade, but it's taken a while to decide how (and if) to display my photography, and in the end I decided against a website, and have set up my blog so that it works a bit like one.

    http://ro-ro-to-fro.blogspot.co.uk

Most of my photography is themed photos of my son, but I've also uploaded my favourite travel photos from around the world, and yes, you'll find some gardening stuff on there too!

This isn't my profession, just a passionate hobby but I thought it was time to get my photos out there.

      Superb photos :blue thumb: :love30:

You don't say what the lake, in the Chilean Andes, is. Is it either Lanquihue or Emerald (above Puerto Montt)? It seems familiar but I can't place it.

Hi Shiney, I'm afraid my descriptions are a bit vague, because so is my memory...
My travel photos were taken when working on ships, and later touring Europe (in my other profession). I spent 18 months on ships, more or less continuously, and later several months in Europe.
The result of travelling to a different port (country) every day, is I'm ashamed to say, I took it for granted, and after a while they all rolled into one. I really wish I had kept better records, because in many cases, I have no recollection of where my favourite photos were taken. Now that I am no longer travelling so frequently, I wish I hadn't been so blasé about it all, but that's life I suppose...

        I know the feeling.

I used to work on the ships, but that was before you were a twinkle in someone's eye :heehee:. I gave that job up 53 years ago :old:
