Popped into Morrison's today to stock up on their flower buckets, which although a little flimsy made excellent pots for growing stuff on and were great for tomatoes too :)

Today though I was pleasantly surprised to find a new design, more attractive and much stronger, previously the older ones were 10 for 99p (sometimes you'd get more) but these ones were 8 for 99p (still a bargain) and you get 2 old ones thrown in, presumably clearing stock of them, so you still get 10. I bought 50 for £4.95 :snork:

I saw their buckets on Sunday and thought they looked a bit different.

They measure 9.75 inches in diameter and are 10.25 inches deep, about the same volume as a 7 to 8 litre plant pot :)

I've got some large dahlias in mine. I've also found they fit perfectly in the apta pots if anyone else had those.

Hey. Where about in the store are they? I take it they are new? Or are they repurposed buckets that they actually sell their flowers in?
