Morning all.

Up with the lark again.

Managed to re-pot about 50 strawberry plants, have done over 120 in all, getting
them ready to start doing boot sales again. Got my 'Romanesco' cauliflowers in as well.
Cabbages going in today, and finally getting round to sowing my pumpkin seeds.

Wow what a lovely warm day it was yesterday and with the ground being damp it made weed pulling quite enjoyable plenty more where they came from though so more of the same today My brother and I are going to pop to a nursery we've found yon side of the Humber later.I am NOT buying any plants though

Morning all.

Managed to get quite a bit done yesterday, repotted a few plants, and got some more seeds
sown, all done sitting down!

Saw my doctor yesterday, have had a really bad back with Sciatic pain down my left leg
for 2 months, now got to have a blood test and x-ray. Had Osteoporosis for quite a few years,
I think I am due a review to see what is happening, yet another thing

Well, Lolimac, spill the beans, what did you buy?

Going out to buy some compost today, what excitement, a couple of 120 litres
should do me, for all my plants for the boot sales. I expect we shall have more,
OH is getting our boxes ready for this years tomatoes, and I have 2 large polystyrene
boxes for root crops, our soil is too stony for them.

Also got an appointment with the nurse in the weight management clinic, see if
I have lost any weight the last month, I bet I have put on this month, as I have
been eating a lot of naughty things, being fed up with what has happened lately.
Still, che sera,sera. I have lost a stone already, so I am pleased with that.

Hope everyone is aching and paining less today.

Shiney..That's a coincidence re the dogwood ,my Mum has a dog wood which looks like it's going the same way and next to it is a large Forsythia which did flower this year but has now fizzled out completely so they'll need removing,I wonder if there is something about?they've been stalwarts of the garden for years or maybe they've come to the end of their time

I got so engrossed in the weeding yesterday the time had moved on before I realised so didn't get to the nursery but I''m definitely going today...just to look don't forget

It's beautiful out there in the garden this morning,only one thing to spoil it though,a huge pile of feathers on the lawn,looks like Mrs Hawk has been for breakfast and there's only one young stoggie wandering around now

Lili, sorry you are still suffering. Loli, that darn hawk needs shooting. I guess it is real life though. Poor wood pidgeons. I am still aching along my shoulders but otherwise ok. I am late taking Amber out this morning so must get my shoes on and get going. I have my eye appointments later this morning which I am not looking forward to.

Cloudy here with rain due this afternoon. Was going to plant out lots of bedding today but the forecast gives a very heavy rain warning for late afternoon so I think I'll wait till tomorrow so they don't get battered or washed away

How did the eye appointment go Moyra?

Did you get to the nursery Loli? Fess up, what did you buy?
