They all try to make a difference. Personally I would rather just try to shake some sense in Farage, although my time may be better spent picking ants out of the lawn for all the good it may do.

Are you surprised? A mother phoned up for an ambulance because her sprog had earache!

Can't help wondering though how many voters just went for "the devil they know" rather than take a chance on the devil they don't ,even if they really would like change.

Ridiculous .... Or is it ??? If a mother can't get to see a doctor or doesn't want to sit in casualty for hours maybe she felt she had no alternate ??
I know that's missing the point a bit but there are so few services left where the cuts have bitten so deep folk do daft things ..

I'm not in favour of total privatisation but I don't see why we shouldn't be expected to pay for some of the routine procedures which are free at present. We expect to pay if we need a plumber, if the car needs a service or MOT, the dog needs a vacination etc.. ...why shouldn't we also pay for ourselves? That way the NHS funding could be spent on the big costs - the people who have serious illnesses, need regular or long term medication etc. Here in Wales we have free prescriptions. Why? I was told it was good publicity and as between 75% & 80% were getting free prescriptions anyway it cost more to administer payment for the rest than give them free.

It will be interesting to look back on this thread (if we can find it)over the next five years to see exactly what happens/is happening to this country of ours and I wonder if he is going to save it or destroy it.Only time will tell....

Well I could get myself a horse and dress in a silly outfit while chasing the local cat population around the housing estate where I live with a pack of dogs but I'd be arrested.......for animal cruelty. :what: :dunno:

Five years is a long time and personally I think people are going to slowly realise that putting David Cameron back in office with a majority was a BIG mistake!! Nothing they can do about it now except just watch what happens and for most of us it is going to be far from pleasant.
Very saddened about the Fox Hunting.

I totally agree with killing foxes but not by tearing them apart (happy though the fox is to tear an entire coop of chickens apart). Shoot them.

I think we should all pour a nice G&T or a Merlot... the world keeps spinning and we just get shafted whoever gets in. The hard working always come off worst.......

May as well enjoy a nice alcohol beverage to warm our cockles and watch the government (whoever is in power) drain the country dry.

                      Chin chin.... :old:

There are more urban foxes than country ones anyway now. Perhaps a result of the country getting eaten up with more housing and possibly because the crafty things realise there is a supply of grub in urban areas .

Personally I think few of us are qualified to say if fox hunting is right or not. Its a country thing and anyone who keeps animals like chickens or whatever will tell you foxes will kill an entire run of chickens just to take one. Chickens have rights also ?

I have no real feelings either way despite the fact I absolutely LOATH cruelty in any shape form or fashion.

Dont like bloody toffs though .
