Frost Alert tonight - Tue 12th May

been poor this year fruit trees still trying to blossom going to be a short year

 

The one we had a few weeks ago managed to do enough damage, but I think we're safe this time.

Hope there isn't too much damage

 

Forecast low here is 6 degrees, hope they're right

 

Down to 5°c forecast for Thursday night here.

 

Forecast here is 7 degrees, oh gawd I hope that's right my potatoes are just peeping through the ground .

 

Forecast 6 deg at nearest town early tomorrow morning, that means it'll probably frost at my plot, been watching forecasts for a few days so delayed polytunnel tomato planting, brought them all back home this afternoon (living room is full again!) and got a paraffin heater up there. Forecast one deg lower Thur morning.

 

@pamsdish has to be the same with you Pam , the sky is looking very clear and its a cold wind blowing as well , get the net curtains down from the windows

 

I hope we aren't going to have this malarky again this year... 15 degrees last night 6 tonight,already fleeced up

 

I've just taken the sheets off the bed (Miss Jiff an't happy) so i can put over me spuds which are 6/8 inch high

 

Just heading off to light my heater and leave some temperature recording devices .....

 

Still 13 degrees here and plenty of cloud about, fingers crossed

 

Its saying it will be a min of 7 here tonight

I cant be arsed now to be honest im just winging it if stuff dies it dies oh well lol

It's down to 4C here tonight with a risk of grass frost.
