What an amazing place to visit. :)
I got chatting to the meet and greet lady, and one of the tour guides (both lovely ladies).
I learnt so much in such a short time. I could have listened to them all day.
Anyway, I took a few snap shots with my camera phone (sorry if you don't like keystoning......personally I don't mind it) :)
I have to say that the Lumia 1020 camera phone is pretty amazing (41 MegaPixel). Its exposure is superb. All I have done is a few tweaks in windows photos.
    If you visit, I recommend a tour guide, on a lovely sunny day :blue thumb: GC1 WEB.jpg GC2 WEB.jpg GC3 WEB.jpg GC4 WEB.jpg GC5 WEB.jpg

Nice photos NG:smile:This is one of the places I would like to visit with Mr Kandy next year if the company he works for lets him retire:snork:

You seem to have visited these places when no one was around which is good for the photographs plus the weather looks decent for the outside shots:smile:

Yes, very quiet, but that was hoped for :)
I also went to Poole, for the bike show on Tuesday, and The Motor Museum at Beaulieu :)
The museum was almost empty ! Lovely grounds there too, but maybe post those another day.
Weather wise it has been perfect for photography. Next time I will take my DSLR.:)

@NG Haven't been to Beaulieu Motor Museum since the 70's.Did you see 'Bluebird' (Donald Cambells car?)plus I think there was one in there called the Golden Arrow but it has been so long ago the memory cells are not as good as they were thirty odd years ago:snork:

We are down in the New Forest some time in the future so might be able to pop along there as Mr Kandy has never been.

Not forgetting Worcester Cathedral which is also close and the newly opened Stanbrook Abbey which is halfway between Tewksbury and Worcester..

Yes, Worcester was mentioned, but I was short on time. I did Beaulieu, Poole, Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Broadway, Chipping Campden, and Moreton-in-marsh, all in 2 days!
I was going to stay in M-in-M last night, but all the hotels were shut :ouch1:.
Something to do with some event at Stow?? :noidea:
I had a curry, and went home :snork:, which I am glad about considering todays weather :blue thumb:.
                Saved between £80-140 too :dbgrtmb:
