Getting less weeds now the borders are fuller.

This area has changed a lot since we moved in. It was previously a tree stump covered in ivy surrounded by nettles. Now there are foxgloves, Delphs, acanthus, centaureas, heuchera, lysmachia, Leucanthemum, iris, aquilegia, violas, pansies, dianthus and roses.

I like the wallflowers and bluebells together with the Welsh poppies.

Had a wander round the garden in the evening sun. I loved the way the sun was backlighting this Honesty.

It's approx 25 x 7 metres. The main bed is 8 x 7 metres plus the borders and a few other beds.
You'd hate it! No theme, just a mish mash of plants that I like!

                    That is stunning!

Mine bloomed too but I missed it as it was hidden behind my rather large Digitalis Illumination Pink. I expected the Digitalis to be a bit tender (as it's a hybrid with Isoplexis) but instead it is thriving.

I brought it with me when I moved last year. It was in a large pot, but now it's taking its chances in the ground.
