So the work is finished :hapydancsmil:

Only thing not to be done as it has been a bit too wet to brush the sand in so thats being left down to me and because of the rain some of the slabs are wobbling because they need more sand to bed them down apparently

Good news is I found my honeysuckle that was dug up. Bad news is they had just placed it in the front garden so the roots were exposed for quite a while, which is now more annoying as they should have just told me and i could of stuck it in a pot and it would have had more of a chance to live. I have planted it again but i'm not expecting it to survive if i'm honest.

Here are the pics. its still looking very rough around the edges and muddy and plantless and potless but it is getting there. Just imagine the lavender hedge lol

the pergola will be painted blue next year to 'blend in' lol and will eventually have a white wisteria covering it, which will be my subtle nod to my support for birmingham city fc lol

not sure how i'm going to do that as its one of the cats new favourite toys. She thinks it's her new climbing frame and tries to attack you from above from it and spits at you.

Dips, it's absolutely beautiful - even on a cold Winter's day. I know it will be superb once you have it planted as you would like . So looking forward to viewing it's development,
      Jenny

@Dips I've just gone through your thread from start to finish, what a fantastic transformation. You should be so very proud of yourself. I think it's absolutely STUNNING! :love30: I totally love the path, where did you get those gorgeous slabs from? It really is a beautiful garden chick. I'm totally jealous.
I'd love to have the vision you so obviously have, want to come and design mine?:rofllol:
