what type of paint?

Im loving the idea of one coat lol

the gregorian grey looks quite nice too

 

a wood stain would be durable wouldn't it?

I have a spare wine box thats a diff shape to test stuff on first luckily

 

that sounds more up my street. Im less messy with a brush. rollers get stuff everywhere with me and i wouldn't even try a sprayer that would be disastrous

cant be bothered to varnish over. I just want the easiest way of doing it so it quicker and less effort and cheaper

 

done worry they will have plenty of time to dry as I would then have to persuade my dad to put them up for me and then book in some time in his schedule.

they prob wont be up until august lol

 

was just on homebase and b&q looking at what wood stains they had

b&q comes up with curpinol garden colours which is annoying cause thats paint not a wood stain but this colour looks perfect

what do you reckon do you reckon i could get away with garden fence paint? im guessing probably not

 

ooohhh then i may just have to order some testers

i feel comfortable with cuprinol garden colours i have used bloody enough of it already

 

Black emulsion outside silk if you want or Matt.
Inside the same colour as your walls, emulsion Matt or silk two or three coats.
To many options I guess.
Your choice.

 

Thought i would let you guys know what i have decided on

So I'm having urban slate the top colour on the outside and frosted glass the bottom colour on the inside



Im then going to do a lime green trim on the front edge as well. Which will tie into the kitchen

Just got to wait for the paint to arrive now and another wine box

 

Got the main painting done on the wine boxes now. Just have to do the green trim next which no idea how im going to do that so its neat lol
