That happened to me recently. I found an acquaponics site using a photograph of tropic tomatoes taken from my site. The tomatoes were grown in my greenhouse; I found the photo on a site with credit given to his site. I wrote to the site owner and told him he was infringing on my copyright. I told him if he did not take it down in two days I would do a post on my blog stating that he not only stole the photo, but he was misleading his customers and could not be trusted. The photo was gone in a matter of hours. Since then, I always paste my copyright information right on the photo, like the sample. There is a clear statement on my site that all rights are reserved and the site is copyrighted.

You can use photo editing software and add copyright information.
Edit this with word processing software and paste it onto you photo:

I've checked out my camera's today and yes my Canon SX50 has the copyright option but I'm not sure about my Canon 1100D. The manual says nothing and I can't find anything on my camera but I could have missed it. Info on the web suggests it's there but I've found nothing positive. Any ideas folks please?
