Oh wow! I feeling sorrow for that tree! Talk about targeted! [IMG]

They are sharply focused photos though.

My preference is for the monochrome version - it adds to the atmosphere.

A nice subject, Woo:thumbsup::snork: Use of even the little flash on your camera might have lightened the image and emphasised the detail in the bark and structure of the tree.:coffee::snork:

Hello @Michael Noble well this is only my personal opinion the top of the main subject is missing, the grass bottom left is not as sharp as it could be and being there distracts from the main subject, there are 4 posts on the left of your image and only 2 on the right,I would have got nearer the main subject, but all in all a very likeable photo:smile: this is only constructive criticism trying to help you my friend ;)

Woo, it's never occurred to me to put any of my photo's here, perhaps I should because I'm very critical of what I produce and it would be helpful sometimes to have another's opinion. :)

Good morning @Michael Noble yes I like that one,if I was being over critical I would say that the pot on the left of the Image is a distraction and the background view of the building is not central, but that is only my personal opinnion:sofa:

I will put this one up for slaughtering :lunapic 130165696578242 5:
