Special Invite To Forum Members - 2015

Thank you all for coming

It was great meeting you all - some of you for the first time and other renewing acquaintances

We've done a lot of the clearing up. Our friends have stacked the hundreds of unsold books in the loft and left a couple of hundred out to go to other book sales and charity shops. Chairs and tables dealt with, more or less, and marquees still to be dismantled.

I shan't put the bird feeders back to the main lawn until the baby blue tits have fledged. That way the parents will have less distance to travel for their own food.

Although Mrs Shiney probably sold well over a thousand plants we have loads left. They now have to be put away somewhere.

I didn't get a chance to take photos so I hope some of you did. I know our GC roving photographer (ARMANDII) took a lot so they'll appear here, or on a separate thread, when he gets the time to do so.

On a more serious note, is there any of you that don't want your photo put up on here? If that's the case (and we'll completely understand) It would be better if you could let us know in a PM. Ta!

 

A big thank you to all of you that brought plants for the plant stall. An extra big thank you to Jenny and "M" for coming to make the sandwiches, "M"'s chooks for the eggs, Jenny for helping with the watering, ARMANDII for the present for the charity and all of you for bringing yourselves.

As you can see, the weather wasn't particularly bright - but we had a fairly good turnout. We even had some people who had just landed back at Southampton from a holiday abroad and come straight here without going home first!
