Wood pigeons 2 eating lots of my very unripe cherries also pulling peas. My photo will be only of the pie they are going in.
I never realised how destructive they are.

We are close to Bournemouth Airport so we get the bottom end as Ryanair have most of the slots and are always circling overhead!!

Went for a walk along the River Severn near the Oldbury Nuclear Power Station earlier in the week, and came back with a few photos which I only just uploaded to the PC.

While I was fishing out some blanket weed from our pond I found quite a few damselfly larvae, and carefully teased them out from the tangled weeds and put them back into the pond. After a while I realized that there were lots of very lethargic damselflies about and then I worked out that they were newly emerged and still drying their wings. Here are a few snap shots.
This one was still hanging on its casing

@strongylodon How long does it take for blue tits to fledge? The babies are still in their box and I don't want to mow around there whilst they're in it.

At least last weekend didn't frighten the parents away. :)

                          Thanks in advance :blue thumb:
