    Here is mine!

I am going to net the strawberries but would the net block bees as well?

Good afternoon Dips, your strawberries look fantastic :). This is my first year of having a go! I've kept mine in pots in the greenhouse, wish I hadn't now as they have taken over a full bench that I could have possibly put to better use. May I ask what you have them potted in please?

I've just seen your strawberries too @blacktulip and now realise what a runner is, I'm such a novice at all this, but learning for next year :blue thumb:

@Apple Blossom my raised beds are just filled with homebases own budget multi purpose compost to be honest

Last year my strawberries were in one of the tower pots you stack up and did ok but didnt thrive. So i filled the raised beds with them in hope it helps. They seem to be happy

Hi @Dips, thank you :), I was wondering more about the raised beds, did you make them yourself as I think it would be better for me to do it like that next time or still this year if possible? It just looks such a great way to care for them. I can't put them into the garden as you know, as it's still very bad with weeds coming through all the time!

I didnt make mine they are the linkaboard kits

                  http://www.linkabord.co.uk

They are brill to put together because they are really light and easy to do so you have raised beds in like half an hour

                      Lol dont blame you

I think they are the easiest raised bed kits as you get them in loads of sizes and heights and they are just so simple to put together.

Plus you can get diff colours and no need for painting and im sure their plastic is made from recycled plastics too

My fav of theirs is the two tier one but decided not to put that one in

It is a sweetheart strawberry and this year I have fully ignored the sweetheart strawberry plants and haven't even fed them and they have produced loads and lots of huge ones. Just got to wait for the rest to ripen now
