Caught in the act!

what? the slugs are coming out in daytime? Noooooo....

 

They are always out in the day in my garden is that odd?

Obviously more are out when its just rained than when its dry but yeh always day time

 

I do slug hunting at evening, about 11pm in this season. Can't find them in daytime

 

Just been out to cut down a sycamore thats growing at the base of a hydrangea and accidently cut through a slug with the secateurs without realising and then stuck my thumb in it. Getting slug juice out of under your nail is not that easy or much fun

Also then killed 3 snails in the process

 

What a joy it is to be a slug or snail

 

Soapy water in a bucket or scissors at night they are horrible things.
