I thought it was bad enough in the Vale of York yesterday and today, but it sounds like we have got off light.

Just had a power cut, oh the joys of living in the countryside with the power going off every time the wind blows, there's a thunderstorm, or the creaking infrastructure fails.

We have the same issues @Scrungee We had a short power cut here too this afternoon. I swear sometimes the only reason we have power here, is because someone's got a load of mice on their wheels linked into the supply!

I got off lightly, my Brugs and early potatoes have been battered and lost a lot of leaf.

The garden is fine, nothing lost, not greenhouse damage and fencing remaining erect phew...

The drive to work, couple of branches down water was more of a problem, some very large puddles along the road in places...

Haven't checked the allotment yet, hopefully tomorrow if my hip allows, a work accident.

Hope the allotment is okay @Ellie Jones and that your hip is not too painful :( Sounds unpleasant, whatever happened :(
