Would rather have Sheal's moon as my view today instead of the drab nonsense outside *sighs*

 

Todays weather consists of Grey sky, followed by more grey sky, rain, just in case you needed more, some more grey sky, more rain, and strong winds. It's positively tropical out there...

 

12 hours of gales and occasional heavy rain, looks like a few more hours before it abates.
Off to the Plant Centre now to see if there has been any damage .

 

It was a dry morning to begin with but its turned wet here again..I just want a bit of sunshine..Pretty Please!!!

 

Terrible night! The wind got under my table parasol, which was down, took the table and chairs crashing down the garden which woke me at 2am, got soaking wet recovering them. And this morning broken branches hanging from trees, it's June what's happening, where's the sun!

 

In the last half hour, the wind velocity has been scaled down but the sky is still leaden with rain. Not too much damage - but more than enough,

The wind has calmed down but it's due to get a bit lively again here later this afternoon. It's now dull, cloudy and drizzly. The temp is 11.4C

 

Nasty during the night, thankfully only damage were two about to flower courgette plants which did a bit of a poltergeist movement from the raised bed into the raspberry canes. Will pick up a couple to replace them later when I go for a swim.
Very windy now and supposed to get stronger all this afternoon though it is mild out at about 15c.

The wind is certainly giving us a bit of what for out there. How to I know from inside? Because I have a door which rattles a little that now sounds like someone is trapped in the room behind it trying to break the door down!

Just in time, finished baking 4 cakes mmmmmmmm and I'm off out into the
garden

Ah, now, Blossom ... were you introduced to the "May Joiners" Rule?

No? Oh dear!
Well, officially, as a May Joiner (with cakes fresh out of the oven ), the rules state that those cakes (fresh from the oven ) have to be submitted to the GC Official Cake Tasting Committee for testing ( ).
So, if you wouldn't mind standing over there ... no, not there, OVER there ... you will be searched for contraband cakes ....
