Big and blousy blooms today ...

Rhododendron Van. Each flower is the size of my palm, ginormous :imphrt: Came close to losing her last year as I'd moved her down the side of the house, where she contracted some sort of fungal disease, but with a bit of TLC and a change of position she's recovering.

First bloom from Rosa Golden Celebration - a real beauty (both in sight and smell) and as with the Gertrude Jekyll, much larger than in previous years.

Rosa Gertrude Jekyll next to Rosa Mutabilis.

Hi @longk, I may have identified my tree!

It could be a mulberry but read that leaves can vary so not sure at the mo what type it is :)

              Thank you :-)

Picked it up from a garden centre last year at the end of its flowering season. Didnt know if it would be happy where it was but i think it likes it lol

Just need to find out what one it is so i know how to prune to make it look even better :-)

Cut back my Salvia Hotlips in Winter and it is just showing first flowers and they are always red to start with, S Icing Sugar is a bit behind.

A small pot of Alstroemeria Indian Summer has just flowered, the huge clump planted in March has yet to flower but will be even better than this.
