      Missed this thread Joolz
Sorry to hear of the rotten time you have both been through!
Glad things are on the mend.
He is a mighty fine looking chap, made me laugh in the photo, looks like he is not impressed with his shaved leg. Obviously he will welcome the opportunity of being a house cat until his fur grows, to keep his street cred in tact if nothing else:)

        :wub2: He's gorgeous :wub2:
I'm really pleased to hear your boy is back home :).
Simian, you must be a good boy for mummy, no climbing, but meowing for treats is perfectly ok! :cat-kittyandsmiley::). I hope you soon feel better. :)

Thank You @Apple Blossom He seems a bit brighter this morning, we've had chin rubs, and a little purr too! Off to the vets again this morning, to check his progress, which to me, seems to be going ok. Fingers crossed. xx

He's getting plenty of treats chick, but I can't over do it, as he's still not *been* We've had a little wee, but not the other. (What a fine thing to be talking about). Shall have to speak to the vets about that too. His tummy seems bloated this morning. But he's in fine fettle all things considering. :blue thumb::cat-kittyandsmiley:

I wonder if the anaesthetic might have made him a little constipated or prehaps one of the painkillers? Your vets are great, I'm sure they will soon get to the bottom of what's causing this. :dbgrtmb:
sending Simian a chin rub & a tickle on his head.

@Beckie76 Simmy says, " mrrrreow, mrow, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr* Think that means Thank you.. :heehee:

It may well be the anaesthetic chick. Lots to ask the Vet this morning, :ideaIPB: I ought to make a list. xxx

Back from the Vets, Poor mite is a bit bunged up in the tumtumbumbum. If he's not *been* this afternoon, I've an appointment to take him back to help his situation. He's going to absolutely love me for this. But as they say, better out, than in! :mute:

Please send a chin tickle from me and we know he'll feel better once he's been. Typical post op. scenario unfortunately,

That's what the vet said @Jenny namaste I had the option to do it at home, but once home I decided against it, as it's a much safer and cleaner environment to do it at the vets. God forbid I didn't do it properly, or clean him up correctly afterward, which could just complicate his recovery. Much better in their hands. The Vet did say he's healing really well, and is standing quite proudly now on his pinned leg. Totally chuffed with that, and like you say, he'll feel lots better afterwards. x

Hope his "evacuation" is as successful as it can be for Simmy (poor poppet, the whole indignity of it all :heehee: ).

Really glad he's making good progress - I know he will continue to heal well (and will feel so much better once the sewage pipes are cleared).
