Set out my Tomatoes today, in their grow-bag / flower pots. I only grow a few outdoor varieties - this year Marmande, Cherry Belle, Tamina, Harbinger and Gardener's Delight (not yet potted up) also growing one plant of Maskotka.

We sowed parsnips in a raised bed April this year and they have started to go to seed...surely this is not right? Never tried growing parsnips before so a little clueless.

I installed some yellow sensor sticky traps in the greenhouse to take a bug census to see if there was anything going on that I should be aware of.

More drive clearing. I can now see the edging all the way round the left and in front of the garage. The brown wheelie bin is full and there's enough in a pile on the drive to fill it again. I'm knackered! It's nice seeing the progress though. The drive looks HUGE now!

Yesterday made a start on the Box clipping but started to loose patience after being constantly buffeted around by the wind :gaah:so thought it best to give up while I still had reasonably straight lines .Took a Brug cutting seen as the wind decided it needed to lop the top off one:doh:....
Today now the wind has eased I'll be moving basket Tomatoes and Brugs back outside again after lugging them into the greenhouse for protection....it's like doing the Hokey Cokey:rolleyespink:...

Today I'm making my first ever hanging basket! I'm so excited!

...and more weeding of paths and clearing of drain holes, which strangely has me less excited ;)

Hope everyone's jobs today go well :)

Had a right good pruning session yesterday. Pruned three large forsythias, a couple of viburnums, an overgrown fatsia, a winter flowering lonicera, a spirea and a few other odds and ends.
All put through the shredder and added to the compost bin.

Just had time to sow a few more radishes and some sweet corn too. :)

Hope you feel better soon @Dips. Sounds horrid! At least you've got a gorgeous view. I love the use of the blue colour. Really summer-y and impactful :)
