Thanks @Dips! I do indeed have a shed to paint, and some wooden fencing on a gloomy patio could do with cheering up. That is, if I ever finish this digging and weeding lol :gaah:

          Hope your better tomorrow.

Ive had the same feeling last fortnight, doc says virus, gonna give it another week then get tested for lymes. Gardening + dog+country walks + sickness = tick bite ?
          Probably just virus though.

            Thank you :-)

Lol i know its never ending thats how i felt about fence painting because all the painting was done before any digging and now i just have tonns of weeding. The green fence on the right of the pic is cuprinols juicy grape and the fence at the back of the garden is highland marsh i think. The wood is def cheerier when painting and makes a great backdrop for flowers. The colours pop more.

Thank you Wee tam. I just did too much weeding yesterday so wore my body out. Silly me i should know better by now

Hopefully yours is just a virus that passes. i dont know massive amounts about lyme disease but I have ME so it reguarly comes up about being tested for lyme because the symptoms are similiar and that can be treated esp caught early. i do know the testing is apparently not very accurate and they get a lot of false results.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you that it is just a standard virus that will go :-)

Butchered the comfrey and added it to my 'comfrey plant'...got this idea from Steve who blogs at https://plot42.wordpress.com
Last year he only fed his plants in the greenhouse with this and they did well. I've used an old sheet and a cheap plastic dustbin...once it's stewed a while I'll lift the sheet and all the comfrey then just use a watering can to apply the comfrey liquid goodness. I've thrown in stalks, flowers the lot! Back out to planting....

Today I replaced all of the polycarbonate panels in the greenhouse. The replaced panels were seven years old and so discolored I most likely was losing a lot of light. Now it is time to relax with a glass of something cold.

I spent my day ripping the guts out of nappies* to mix with my compost, and then put all my cucumbers into their final pots, about half of the tomatoes are in theirs, and I have got my first basket on display by the front door. Tons still to do though.

*brings a whole new meaning to pampered plants! Geddit???

I stood there looking and thinking that theres not much in the way of blooms and colour in my little garden so I spent my garden time feeding and watering today. Then I thought this grass looks a bit patchy so I spread some seed about and watered that in and then give it a feed. One jobs leads to another. I'm sure you know what I mean and it happens to us all.

Does that really work then? I've read this countless times on the web, but wasn't sure if there were any chemicals, or such like that would affect the plants? Can't be really, as it's got to be next to a babys botbot. Are the crystals really the same as the good old packet of water retaining crystals?

I've been out and brought a large barrel planter today, have planted that up, as well as a trough on the kitchen courtyard.
