    Thank You @wiseowl @Jenny namaste & @Beckie76
@"M" You have no idea how much that made me laugh, thank you. xxxxx

I think also, that the fact that our bathroom renovation taking FOREVER, and hitting hurdle after hurdle isn't helping either. I'm fighting dust like there's no tomorrow. I'm trying to keep the lounge clear of it, as that's where Simmy's pen is, and I don't want it to hinder his scars healing. He seems off his food today too, so that's worried me a tad. I'll be doing the food shop tomorrow so I'll be buying him various varieties for him to whet his appetite.

We'll get there, I'm going to make darned sure we do. xxxx:cat-kittyandsmiley:
    :ThankYou::grphg:

Is he a fan of freshly roast chicken? Ours always perked up if he could smell it cooking....

When we went on holiday, "Holly" went to stay at a Cat Kennel but spent a lot of time in their house with the family. I always did a whole chicken - stripped it off the bone, chopped it up potted it in old yoghourt pots with plenty of juice from the bird and froze the pots. Holly may have missed us but the chicken made up for it ,
                  well, almost,

Our cat can be really fussy with his food, I often give him a bit of chicken/Turkey/ beef.....our cat eats better than I do! :heehee: At the moment he's eating gourmet & good as it looks (meat not fish he has thyroid problems & tummy problems so he can't have fish cat food anymore!) I hope simian is soon eating better, poor little chap. :grphg:

Get well soon Simian, we are all routing for you :cat-kittyandsmiley:sending you a big chin rub Xx :cat-kittyandsmiley:

                          Hi @Beckie76

Sorry for such a late reply chick. xx Simmy's doing ok, thank you. We were at the Vets again today for another post op check-up. He needed his dressing looked at, as even though the sock is helping, there's still one part where the top of the frame is catching his leg. That's been bound over now, so that's good. It was a bit of a faff to do, and I had to hold him up for a little while, whilst they bound it. So, he's been a bit tired & grumpy today as I think it made his leg ache a tad. He's such a complient chap though, didn't struggle too much. I'm sure he knows that it's all to help him.

He takes his medication so well too. I only have to put his tablet in front of him, and he takes it up, sweet as anything. Doesn't moan or grumble when I have to give him his liquid medication either. Needless to say, he gets a few treats after each medicine time as a reward for being such a good boy. :cat-kittyandsmiley::wub2:

I'm doing ok thank you. Though getting increasingly frustrated at the progress of our bathroom renovations. We've gone five steps backwards this week, have had to undo work that was done, and do it again. :gaah: So, that didn't help matters yesterday either!

Thank you so much for thinking of us both chick. Hope you're doing ok too. xxxxx

                            Hi @Joolz,

Simian is such a good boy for taking his meds :dbgrtmb:, bless his little heart :cat-kittyandsmiley:
I hope now the vets have bound the area which was catching he will make good progress. After a good nights sleep tonight I hope Simian will be back to his normal perky self in the morning :grphg:.

Oh gracious the bathroom sounds like it's understandably trying your patience, what a so & so to have to undo some of the work :wallbanging:, we did a lot of renovating here when we first moved in so totally understand what you are saying, the dust & mess almost sent me crazy :rolleyespink:! But once it's finished you will be so pleased, I hope there's been good progress made today.:dbgrtmb:
                            xx

Been reading your posts and so glad that Simian is being such a stoic "soldier". If he is being really picky about his food you could try either cheese and or ham. Yes I can imagine all sorts of hands going up in horror as both contain lots of salt but cats generally love both. I got this tip from our neighbour post getting our 2 kittens who promptly refused to eat or drink ANYTHING when we got them home. They refused all the proper cat foods but gave in and scoffed some little bits of cheese which got them going re food...they are now eating us out of house and home. Our neighbour runs a cat sanctuary looking after about 300 cats so she is quite experienced in all things feline!
Hopefully the injury will be starting to heal and your wee boy will perk up shortly.
