Currently 27 degreeseven too warm for flip flops

Here it has been sunny mostly and about 20c but a chill wind that will not desist!
p.s. snapped two trusses off my toms while giving them some 'loving care' this morning

It's cooled down now to a comfortable 22 degrees

Who said it was grim up north? not for today at least

 

Think it managed 20C today, usual cold wind when the sun went in.

They forecast a very sticky night, 12C followed by a very humid 24C tomorrow, but it will be better on Thursday, ie, colder.
Is it just me or has summer yet to start, oh its been sunny, but cold in the shade and at night.

Give me a nice steady 26C, 15C at night and I might start thinking summer had come.

Cloudy today but still no promised rain so the sprinkler has been on the beds again this evening. We managed 18C here, I think it was warmer in April.

Had some gentle rain since around 6.30 pm ish so had to abandon our evening walk but have just seen the most spectacular sunset...

I woke to light rain this morning which only lasted an hour or so and did very little towards watering the garden. A mixture of sun and cloud all day and still not warm enough with the constant breeze chilling what should be 17C.
