Hi Simona and a warm welcome to the forum. That's a gorgeous palm. I assume its a Dwarf Fan Palm (Chamerops humilis) - though I am not too good on Palm names. I have one and I think its my favourite Palm. It makes a very interesting shape without getting too big. How do you overwinter yours ?

Pete - lovely pics and I love that Crinodendron - its seems to be very early, we are not far past the last frost up here. Its clearly outside for you, but it would have to be inside for me and I am more than full up with internal climbers - with a waiting list of more wanting wall space.

Ipomea indica has finally started to flower. I am getting excited, I planted 9 young climbers against the back wall of my conservatory last year. The Ipomea did well, but the others did very little - being so young. I am hoping that this year they will all come of age.

The Macfadyena, or Dolichandra_unguis-cati, is flowering quite well this year, bit of an untidy plant though.

Around these parts that is what you say to someone before you punch them!! :heehee:

Anyway - as I struggle to get Campsis radicans to do anything here I rather suspect that it would be a waste of time trying Macfadyena. Thanks for the offer though :blue thumb:

I'm not sure that Iochroma australis is exotic now as I'm finding it as hardy as @pete does but here it is anyway..............

Incidently, it has now been reclassified and is now called Acnistus australis :mute:

It was Acnistus when I bought the seeds in the 80s, you mean its now gone full circle from being Iochroma.
If so, someone needs to get a grip on those name changers and tell them to get a proper job.
