ID again please, sorry!

    Does anyone know what this thing is? It was here when we moved in and I had thought we'd managed to dig it out (after trying to pull it out at least twice) but up it has come again! The roots are huge and quite fleshy, and when it flowers they are wine coloured and bell shaped. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    Looks to me like you have a Dicentra Spectabilis, also known as Bleeding Heart.

    Did the flowers look like this ... [​IMG]

      Thanks @"M" , I think after looking this up I have the Dicentra Spectabilis Gold Heart as the leaves are more yellow when it's fully "up". Very much appreciated.:ThankYou:
