Yes as Titania said to Bottom in a "Midsummer Nights Dream;)

Sleep thou, and I will wind thee in my arms…So doth the woodbine, the sweet honeysuckle,Gently entwist; the female ivy soEnrings the barky fingers of the elm.

Wonderful quote, woo ... now, as coincidence would have it, look who I stumbled across a couple of weeks ago:

      CIMG0134 (771x1024).jpg

Oberon and Titania! Alas, no woodbine there.

Good morning, @wiseowl - thank you for your positive comment on my photo; I must confess the whole location where that photo was taken was remarkably lovely :)

Fragrant Cloud is a very handsome rose, woo and the name gives it away that it must smell heavenly too.

Good Morning @wiseowl I wonder if you could take a look at one of my new roses and possibly give me some advice please?

Special Anniversary, looks very healthy but when the roses form they seem to be a listless and wilting if that's the best terms to use.... As you can see it's rather limp...

                        image.jpg

I've checked all the leaves and some have this.....
                        image.jpg

I'm not watering it daily as recommended but giving it a good watering about every 3rd day.

The others are doing very well even Absolutely Faboulous...

                          Why Not:heehee::lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Good morning @Apple Blossom my friend well lets see what I can advise;)

I have always found that my Hybrid tea Roses need a little extra watering than the Floribunda's this is just Woo's opinnion and not excepted by the rest of the Rose world;)

To be certain that your roses have enough water make sure the soil is always moist. Feel the soil and if it feels dry, add water; if in doubt, add water. If it feels wet, you’re okay. As long as your soil drains well, over watering is usually not a problem, but if your roses are getting too much water, you will see yellowing and limp leaves dropping from the bottom of your plants.
                          -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bred by Edward "Ted" Smith (United Kingdom, 2003).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Whartons Nurseries Ltd. in 2003 as 'Special Anniversary'.

                          Hybrid Tea.

Pink. Magenta pink. Mild to strong fragrance. Very double, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

I wanted too, :lunapic 130165696578242 5:but the instructions said it likes a good watering rather than daily small ones:huh:

The soil is great but it is a very dry area so I will now follow Woo's instructions :dbgrtmb: and put the other in the trash!

Any idea on the leaf holes?

Brush Strokes is doing really well...

And the other I've inherited, bees are so funny with this one they dance around the center Buzzzzing away the whole rose bush sounds alive when you walk past it :hate-shocked::hate-shocked::hate-shocked:

                            image.jpg

And the other I inherited very pretty but straggly

                            image.jpg

I'm hiding phase two from you at the moment :heehee: but will no doubt chase you up in due course for some of your fabulous advice :spinning:
