I just think that those in the containers are going to suffer sometime soon and won't reach their potential. Just my opinion

Not sure about that either. My gut feeling is that they'll do better outside. What do you think @JWK ?

It will be, got sidetracked by the boy coming down, but tomorrow i'll put one of the others in the soil in the greenhouse

 

Good idea Btw, those others (in the ground) look pretty good to me. Not whoppers, but still pretty good Oh, try and give all three some leaf support

 

The others are "Snowball" normal sized onions planted in January They should be coming on soon, see some of them have dropped already.
