              This morning started with some blue skies and a fair amount of clouds but by mid day the clouds had taken over and the Sun had disappeared again as they had yesterday. The strange thing was that even with the thick cloud the temperature shot up from 61f to 76f in less than an hour and stayed warm. Right now the temperature is 64f and the pressure reading is 1031mbs. They are forecasting hotter weather into the low 30C for next week.:hapydancsmil::coffee::snork:

                  Had some rain this morning but it appears to have stopped now which is a shame as my water butt is nearly empty and I am using my washing up water on my Pyracantha bushes so that the berries don't shrivel up this year:snork:

                  My allotment and garden will be glad of it if we get more and not sure if it is true but the Daily Wail reckons the temperature is going up to 30c next week ready for Wimbledon so I might have to miss some of the tennis to go off watering although I could send Mr Kandy over to the lottie to do it:snork:

                            We're on yellow alert for high temperatures over the next five days at least. Today it's been about 33°C (flippin' 'ot°F) and set to reach 36/38°C (even flippin' 'otter°F) tomorrow and Sunday. According to the weatherman it's an exceptional situation for a heatwave like this to affect so much of the country (all over the Spanish peninsula) for so many days, without the possibility of thunderstorms.
